The projects for OPUS and Eleftheria Square have been selected as winners of this year’s International Architecture Awards 2022 by the EUROPEAN CENTER Architecture for Art Design and Urban Studies and by the CHICAGO ATHENAEUM Museum of Architecture.
Now in its 19th year, The International Architectural Awards are the oldest and most prestigious distinguished global building awards program that honors new and cutting-edge design worldwide. This annual program, organized by both our institutions, also promotes international architecture and design to our world-wide public audience and supported by the new online magazine Global Design News. This year, the Museum received a record number of projects for new buildings, landscape architecture, and urban planning from the most important international firms practicing globally.
An international jury composed of several distinguished designers worked remotely and selected over 150 submissions from a shortlist of over 650 projects.
The Jury consisted of distinguished members and headed by Alberto Alessi of Alessi SpA.
