Curriculum Vitae:

 

Aleka Alexopoulou was born in Edessa.

He studied architecture at the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Athens.

She is an associate professor in the Department of Architects, P.S., A.U.Th., where she has been teaching since 1975 Architectural Composition.

Her research and scientific interests are developed in the area of architectural design at different scales, up to the urban space and its transformations.

Facilities for culture and the protection and promotion of monuments and sets are objects which are also central axes of its activity.

He participated in many architectural studies and distinguished himself with awards in architectural competitions.

He participates with teaching and lectures in postgraduate programs of the Department of Theatre, Museumology and The Protection, Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Monuments.

He directs the 1st Department of Architectural Design and Visual Arts.

At the same time, he directs the I.M.S. for the Protection, Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Monuments.
