Curriculum Vitae:
Born in a small village Gonies, in Crete in 1950, Manolis Kantidakis has studied architecture at the Architectural School of the University of Florence from 1971 till 1975 and at the Architecture school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from which he received his Diploma in 1979. Since 1981 he has a continuous participation in academic teaching. In the past five years (2008-2013) he has conducted the academic courses of Urban Planning and Design -Master plan, Development plan- Workshop and Theory and the course of Introduction to Spatial Organization and Architectural Design together with Sarantis Zafeiropoulos in the Architecture school of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since 1980 he is the co-founder of an architectural firm based in Thessaloniki, Greece working on architectural and urban projects of both private and public commissions. Most important projects include:
